Zemfira is famous for her heartfelt and honest lyrics, in which she reflects her own perception of the world: themes of isolation, loneliness and family problems of our time. In 1999, having moved to Moscow, she released her debut album "Zemfira", which brought her wide popularity and recognition. Immersed in music, she and her nephew Artur created a new group called "Zemfira from Luke". This name does not refer to the Gospel of Luke, but to the singer's previous group "The Uchpochmack", where she was known as Rocket, and Artur as Luka. They recorded an album with the same name - an important step for Zemfira in her quest to create something meaningful in these difficult times. While abroad, Zemfira continues to actively collaborate with Renata Litvinova. Back in Russia, Renata filmed several videos for Zemfira and a concert film "Green Theater in Zemfira", which captured her performance in Gorky Park. Their relationship is often discussed in the press, but both always claim that they are bound by strong friendship and respect. Now they live together in Paris. In March 2025, it became known that Zemfira wrote the music for Litvinova's play "The Sacred Beast", where Renata acted as the author of the play, director and lead actress.
