On July 6, the famous Zemfira will give a concert on the stage of the ASP Arena in the Kazakh city of Konayev

Zemfira was born in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. In her youth, she showed interest in both sports and music, even heading a women's volleyball team. However, over time, music took the main place in her life. Having received a musical education, Zemfira left Ufa and, thanks to her collaboration with the popular performer Ilya Lagutenko from the group "Mumiy Troll", released her debut album, which brought her long-awaited fame.

Her compositions are distinguished by a shift in emphasis and unexpected vocal introductions that create the effect of a live dialogue. Although Zemfira is close to listeners through her songs, she remains a rather withdrawn person and rarely gives interviews, preferring the company of a narrow circle of trusted people. In her works, the singer uses abrupt sound transitions: from a quiet whisper to emotional intensity, from minimalist melodies to rich instrumental accompaniment. This is especially noticeable on the penultimate album "Borderline", dedicated to themes of borderline personality disorder (BPD), recorded in Russia.

Abroad, she has released only one mini-album so far - "Zemfira from Luka", created together with her nephew. This album raises questions of loneliness, personal choice and self-knowledge in a complex world of contradictions and fears. The relative was responsible for the instrumental design and production.

In April 2024, Zemfira announced the release of a new album called "Colette". This disc will be the singer's ninth studio album. Last fall, she performed at major concert venues in Belgrade, London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and other European capitals. This year promises to be no less important for Zemfira and her fans, so tickets for the concert in Kazakhstan should be purchased in advance – there may not be any left!
