Zemfira began her journey in 1998, when her first album was released. Much later, she will be the only Russian singer to perform "We Are the Champions" with the cult group "Queen" at the MTV Russia Awards ceremony. In 2013, she was named the best Russian performer at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and in her homeland she began to be perceived as the voice of a generation of millions of young people. She is one of the most successful performers in the history of Russian music. Her musical style is "female rock", which will later be picked up by other performers.
As a child, she raved about Tsoi, studied at a music school, and was also seriously involved in basketball, and even became the captain of the Russian youth team. After she finally left sports, music became the work of her life, her love, her calling. After Zemfira will admit many times in her interviews that the most important thing for her is creativity. In many ways, it was this that gave her the opportunity to adapt so easily and quickly to Paris, where Zemfira moved from Russia. In the capital of France, she continues to be friends with her long-time close friend, Renata Litvinova, composes compositions for her original performances, and also actively creates - both alone and together with her nephew. It was collaboration with him that gave her fans the singer's latest album, "Zemfira from Luka", in which, through artistic musical techniques and stunning vocals, the issues of personal choice, loneliness and separation in the modern hostile world are raised.
According to the singer herself, she is not going to return to Russia in the near future. Abroad, she has even more offers for cooperation than she had at home, so tickets for Zemfira's concert are worth buying in advance, because fans from all corners of the world will come to listen to their favorite artist.
