Zemfira Talgatovna Ramazanova was born on August 26, 1976 in Ufa, Bashkir ASSR, USSR. She is known as a Russian rock singer, musician, composer, producer, poet and songwriter. Zemfira was awarded an honorary award, the Laureate of the State Republican Youth Award named after Shaikhzada Babich in 1999, which only emphasizes her talent and importance in the music world.
Zemfira started her career in music in Moscow in early 1998, when she moved from her native Ufa. There she started working with her band Zemfira on her first studio album, which was released a year later. Since then, Zemfira has released seven studio albums, which have attracted considerable attention from both the press and the public. Her lyrics often reflect the emotional experiences and searches of young people, making her music relevant and close to the younger generation.
Zemfira is also not limited only to music. She has produced musical films such as "The Green Theater in Zemfira" (2008) and "Rita's Last Fairy Tale" (2012), for which she wrote the music. Her works have been critically acclaimed and participated in international film festivals.
Zemfira also had a significant influence on the younger generation and young musical groups of the 2000s. Her music has become a part of the history and culture of Russia, and her talent and artistry remain outstanding.
